    Power Drill, Drill bite, easy out, Allen wrench, vice grip, drill

    1. Tried to remove old screws.
    2. Had to drill out 2 muffler screws with drill and small drill bit.
    3. Drill through entire screw.
    4. Used smallest easy out inserted into hole.
    5 Sprayed WD40 oil into hole
    6. Used vice grip and slowly backed out both screws
    Installed muffler and new screws.
    Muffler is holding and saw runs strong!

    Chain saw muffler was shot - 10 yrs old

    Unscrewed the old muffler assembly and replaced the new parts exactly as old parts came off. Retightened the screws w/3/16 long narrow nut driver.

    Had a bad carburetor and needed to put on a new muffler with screws

    1. Removed the filter cover and then the filter.
    2. Removed the 3 screws holding on the piston cover housing.
    3. Removed carburetor and replaced with new parts
    4. Removed muffler and replaced
    5 Reassembled saw
