    2) Removed Bar & Chain
    3) Installed Inner Spike and Screws
    4) Replaced Bar & Chain
    5) Re-Installed Brake / Clutch Cover Loosely
    6) Set Chain Tension
    7) Tightened Brake / Clutch Cover

    Chainsaw did not come with bumper spike

    1. Loosened the bar nut.
    2. Removed the plastic covering.
    3. Remove the bar and chain.
    4. Place bumper spike over holes.
    5. Attach bumper spike with two screws.
    6. Reinstall bar, chain, plastic covering and bar nut.

    Chainsaw did not ship with inner spike assy (forward spikes that allow chainsaw to grip the tree as chain cuts into tree).

    1. Chainsaw off (not running).
    2. Released bar brake.
    3. Slightly loosened nut that compresses chain retainer/adjustment plate.
    4. Took tension off chain (loosened chain adjustment).
    5. Removed plate, cutting chain and cutting bar.
    6. Cleaned out (2) screw holes on forward portion of saw body.
    7. Attached inner spike assembly with 2 screws, using Allen wrench.
    8. Reinstalled cutting bar, cutting chain, retainer plate and nut.
    9. Adjusted cutting chain tension. Tightened retaining plate compression nut.
    10. Reengaged (set) bar brake.
