This replacement part is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Ariens snowblowers. The blade is secured in the back of the unit in order to scrape up any snow left behind. Scrapers are designed to absorb a lot of friction, generally, you can tell that a snowblower has a worn scraper because it will no longer be able to clear the sidewalk, leaving patches behind. Please note, paddles and scrapers are designed to wear at approximately the same rate, so it's always a good idea to replace them both at the same time. Keep in mind this high-quality 28" scraper blade is made of durable vinyl material and is sold individually.
