Parts Used
1. Disassembled motor section from shaft of trimmer.
2. Removed cover (6 screws)
3. Used length of cord in spark plug hole to jam piston
4 Removed screw holding clutch cover
5 Removed clutch.
6 Removed starter assembly and determined damage to rotor.
7 Replaced rotor. Note: Did not follow tech tip regarding use of loctite after discussing with Ryobi technician who said it wasn't necessary.
8 Reassembled in reverse order
