This durable nylon starter rope is an authentic OEM supplied replacement part that is specially produced for use with Briggs and Stratton engines that are commonly installed on Toro lawn and garden equipment. When the rope is pulled to start the engine, it is returned back into the starter pulley by means of the starter spring. One starter rope is included per order, please note the handle grip and other parts are all sold separately.

2 Pulled rope all the way out and held fully extended
3 Cut knot on old rope and discarded it then threaded new rope with handle installed, tied knot and let the rope slow retract in
4 Place new stop in to position and crimped on to rope.
5 Take plastic cover of drive belt( 1 screw on mine) remove bolt that hold cable then remove and replaced traction cable, adjusted to proper position to engage drive belt. after complete put cover back over drive belt
Very simple repair, just need to pay attention to how you disassemble to make sure everything aligns with out interference.
Handle knobs just remove old one and spin new ones on.
