    Rope broke and nut was loose on pull start caused it bust it all

    Changed all the broken parts with new ones on the pull start also replaced the impeller where vacuuming leaves broke some fins

    Blower/Vac rcoil starter drum broke.

    Pliers, Power Drill, Socket set

    1. Removed starter from engine.
    2. Replaced starter pawl assembly. (Easy)
    3. Removed starter drum and spring from starter assembly.
    4. Removed rope from old starter drum.
    5. Attached starter rope to new drum.
    6. Cursed and fought with spring for at least an hour before ultimately succeeding.
    7. Recommend purchasing new starter assembly complete. Blood pressure stays lower.

    Starter pawl broke and prented enjgine from turning

    Screwdriver, Metric hexx allen key

    1. Removed starter rope housing using metric hex key
    2. Removed old starter pawl.
    3. Installed new starter pawl.
    4. Removed spark plug per video and inserted short length of small rope in cylinder to prevent engine from turning and tightened new pawl. Removed rope and reinstalled spark plug.
    5. Removed starter rope from old drum and installed on new drum on housing.
    6. Wound starter rope on new drum per video and reinstalled starter rope housing on trimmer.
    7. Tested rope pull per video.

    Echo hedge trimmer starter rope broke due to a sharp edge on the rope guide.

    Took the recoil off the trimmer. Took out the screw that was holding the starter drum. Had to remove the handle. Inserted the new rope guide. Then rewind the new rope onto the drum inserted into the the trimmer and that was that.
