  • Starter pull cord; Easy to replace, worked as desired.
The cord arrived in short order, the package was in good shape and the product was exactly what I ordered and needed. I will order lawnmower and other yard machine parts from eReplacementParts.com again.

    Didn't work
I couldn't get the rope threaded to the recoil. Made the mistake of trying to remove the coil mechanism. Whoops sprung the spring. Ordering new assembly as I couldn't get the spring back in place.

    1. Used the socket wrench to remove the starter assembly from the mower.
    2. Pull the broken cord all the way out until the starter assembly would go no more and insert the
screw driver in one of the openings to keep it at that place.
    3. From the assembly get the knotted end loose pull out slightly.
    4. Cut the knot off with the knife and from the other end of the cord pull the rope completely out
    of the starter assembly.
    5. With the new cord thread through the outside hole of the starter assembly and through the
    hole in the fly-wheel.
    6. Once the cord is through the fly-wheel, tie a knot to that end pull the from the other end of
the cord until the knot is secure in the fly-wheel.
    7. Now holding the outside end of the cord remove the screw driver from the starter assembly
and let the fly pull the cord in winding it up on the fly wheel. (Note: You should still have a
long piece of the cord outside the starter assembly.)
    8. You can now reattach the starter assembly to the mower with the socket wrench.
    9. Thread the end of the cord outside the assembly to the cord-holder on the mowers handle.
    10. Finally thread the cord end through the grip-starter and tie a knot or 2 to keep in the grip-
    starter.
