Lawn mower piston rings needed replacing on my kawasaki engine

2.Removed headers in order to see pistons
3.Disconnected muffler, blade clutch, flywheel, etc so that the only thing left was the engine to crack open
4. Once engine was cracked open and I could get to the pistons, I removed both pistons and replaced the piston rings
5. Once new piston rings are in place, everything went back together in reverse order from when I took it apart.
6.replace all gaskets when putting engine back together
7. The main thing to focus on after putting everything back together is to make sure the governor is properly adjusted. I had major issues with my governor and I needed an extra set of hands to set the governor properly.
