We used a Char-Broil grill for this repair, but it will be the same for most grill brands. Check out our Char-Broil parts page to find all of the parts you need for summer.
Replacing the handle:
1. Loosen and remove the handle screws
Use a phillips-head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws on the inside of your grill cover.
2. Remove the old handle
With the screws removed you can pull the old handle away from your grill.
3. Set the new handle onto your grill lid
Place the stainless steel bezels over the screw holes on the grill cover and set the handle into the bezels.
If your grill is porcelain, make sure you use fiber washers to separate the handle and the grill lid to prevent the porcelain finish from cracking.
4. Secure the new handle
Use the screw, lock-washer, and flat-washer to fasten the new handle onto your grill cover.
