The strap assembly is one of two shoulder straps on your backpack blower. The strap assembly consists of a padded strap, an adjustment strap, an adjustment buckle, and the attachment ring. Over time, the straps can wear, the padded portion can tear, and the nylon attachment straps can rip.
Let's get started.

a. Bend the eyelet out by applying torque in opposite directions using two sets of pliers.
b. Unhook the eyelet from the loop on the frame.
2. Remove the strap assembly from the top portion of the frame.
a. Feed a small section of the strap through the loop, and remove the clip from the strap. b. Set the clip aside.
INSTALLING THE NEW STRAP
3. Install the strap.
a. Place the new strap assembly on the blower and align it in the same position that it would sit during normal operation.
b. Route the top end of the strap through the opening (in the top of the frame) and through the back.
4. Install the clip.
a. Feed the clip through the loop in the end of the strap.
b. Insert the webbing into the slots on the clip.
5. Connect the lower portion of the strap assembly.

b. Connect the eyelet (for the new strap) to the opening in the frame.
c. Close the eyelet by crimping it down with a pair of pliers.
