Replacing the air filter on a Ryobi trimmer

The Facts

Air filter filthy? It's time to face the fix. Whether you are a legendary landscaper or a weekend weed whacker, eReplacementParts.com provides the parts, procedures and facts you need to fearlessly fix what fails you.

Maintaining the air filter is one of the most important things you can do to ensure that your string trimmer performs optimally for several years. The air cleaner filter keeps dirt and debris from clogging the trimmer's carburetor (and damaging the engine). The filter should be frequently inspected for obstructions or defects (especially tears) which will allow dirt to enter the engine and cause significant damage in a very short time.

This article will show you how to remove and install the air cleaner filter on a Ryobi trimmer.
