This is an original manufacturer sourced replacement part used with Homelite pressure washers. This is the starter assembly that is used to crank start the unit. It includes a plastic shroud/housing, starter pulley, starter spring, grip and the pull rope. Please note the hardware/bolts and the shroud are all sold separately.

    Ordering the right replacement is most important.
    Then remove the four small bolts, remove the recoil starter assembly and dump the old assembly in the trash. Place the new assembly in place, start the bolts back into the assembly. Tighten the bolts, give the starter a pull to test it.
    If it turns your motor. It's time check and set up your machine as you normally do and start your motor.
    It's easier to do than write out the repair.

    Pressure Washer would not start after repeated pulls

    1. Removed the entire recoil assembly by removing 4 bolts
    2. Ordered new recoil assembly
    3. Aligned new assembly
    4. Secured with four original bolts
    5. Checked repair by pulling the starter rope and it started on the first pull
