This is a genuine OEM supplied replacement primer bulb which is specially produced for use with Briggs and Stratton engines commonly installed on Toro lawn and garden equipment. By pressing on the purge bulb, it will force fuel from the tank into the carburetor, once the carburetor is full of fuel, the excess fuel will be purged back into the tank through the return line. Over time primer bulbs tend to lose elasticity or crack eventually requiring replacement. It is a high-quality component which is made of durable rubber and it is sold individually.

Primer Bulb
I bought this old Toro lawn mower that gentleman said was sitting in storage for twenty years. I noticed bulb was bad right away, so I figured that it was the the reason it set for that long! Plus the guy told me that his grandfather had went ahead and bought a new one. I ordered the bulb, cleaned the jets and it fired right up! I was really impressed with the purchase of the bulb being the right one and the quick service....

Removed air filter housing. Removed complete carb and intake. Cleaned everything with non chlorine brake cleaner. Removed carb bowl and cleaned. Replaced needle jet and gasket.
Replaced primer bulb which rots out every year, Replaced air filter. Cleaned gas tank.
Two primes, one pull, back in business.
