This is a genuine Coleman replacement part used with kerosine lanterns. It is a brass one-piece part that fits around the generator directly above the nut. Kerosine needs to be at a higher temperature than other fuels in order to combust. The cup is preheated by filling it with alcohol, igniting the alcohol, and burning it until it is almost gone; the cup is then hot and it will raise the temperature of the kerosine that passes through the generator. The specially designed alcohol filling bottle used with this cup can be found as part # 201-5511. This cup is sold individually.

Completely disassembled the Coleman 200A gas lantern. Cleaned completely. Reassembled with new kerosene generator and preheated cup. The lantern now burns kerosene very well.
Converted from white gas to kerosene.

Lantern did not come with a generator, jamb nut, pre heat cup and alcohol bottle.

1. Dismantled the tip end of the lantern
2. Installed the generator and jamb nut
3. Set the top end of the lantern with the preheat bottle back on top of the lantern
4. Tightened everything down
5. Fueled, pumped and light
