This genuine OEM power switch is specially designed for use with treadmills. It allows electricity to flow from the power source to the machine, allowing the user to switch the equipment on and off. It is a small, rectangular piece with a red flip button, and it is found either next to the console or near the power cord at the base of the equipment. When the power switch fails, which can occur due to age, physical damage, or faulty wiring connection, the treadmill will not turn on, or it may shut off during use. Do not use the treadmill if the power switch is faulty as this may result in injury. Remove the switch cover and take note of how the wires are routed. Carefully pull the switch out and place the switch in its place. Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals using your notes and reattach the cover.
