    1. Remove screws to allow the case to open.
    2. Loosen screws holding in 3 old wires. Green, white, and black. The original has ring connectors, so you have to take the screws all the way out.
    3. I saved the original boot on the original wire, so I removed that.
    4. Strip new wires about 1/4 inch. I placed spade connectors on the new wires.
    5. Place original boot on new wire. I used electrical tape to wrap around all 3 new wires to make leading through the boot easier. Remove once wires are through boot.
    6. Start the screws that hold the spades in place. Connect the wires to their respective places and tighten screws. Bend the connectors slightly to match the tight contours of the saw.
    7. Realign the plastic pieces that make up the case and replace all screws that hold the saw together. Be careful not to pinch any of the new wires with the case as you put it back together.

    Cord was cut

    Removed the screws on the handle. Next remove the screws that held the green,white and black wires from the old cord. Strip the new wires on the new cord and thread the cord on the handle clamp. Cramp on wire ring terminals and connect the black and white to the on /off switch and green to the ground screw. Replace screws in the cover , your done.

    Power cord got nicked

    On screw the saw handle which covers the electrical cord.
    Aligned new cord to follow original wiring.
    Take out damage wires replace with new ,also following the colors of each wire.
    Once install n everything looks like the original,close up saw handle.
    Screw handle up tight, plug in saw for a test run ,all went well,back in business!!

    Damaged power cord

    2. Discover that replacement does not come with any connectors
    3. Drive to hardware store to buy necessary connectors
    4. Install connectors on replacement
    5. Close up saw body
    6. Test

    2. Remove old cord from terminals.
    3. Connect new cord to terminals.
    4. Align cord strain relief and handles.
    5. Insert hardware and tighten.
    6. Test operation.
