    Good cord bad information
The picture when you purchase is different than the second picture here I asked specifically are the connectors on the ends of the cord and was told yes, they were not. So after waiting for a week and a half for a 40$ cord that I had. I called again and spoke to a more knowable man and paid $2.50 each and extra shipping - i don’t care so much about the cost it is the time and messing around. It has been a week and a half waiting for two end power clips that they and I paid for for 5 days Super place to get parts great selection and this is the only time for bad info, but shipping seems to be by pony express most orders come in a day or two and free but a week or two and expensive - ok the products are super so I will keep shopping

Cord was cut and carbide blades were badly nicked

This used Dewalt planer DW677 was a "gift" from a friend. The cord was easily replaced after removing 1/2 of the cover. The carbide blades were removed using the spanner which is just a small narrow wrench. Turn the retaining nuts clockwise to enable the two blade holders to be slid out of the planer. Pull out the old carbide blades and insert the new. Slide both units into the drum and back off the retaining nuts to tighten in place. Take care to index each carbide cutter on the drum so they are in the same location on the drum. This was the most difficult step but overall a piece of cake.
