Fuel tank was drained and carburetor was removed and both were cleaned. Carburetor Diaphragm and welch plug was replaced after cleaning all carburetor jets and drilled orifices. After fuel problems were fixed a leak was noted around seal on PTO end of crankshaft. Seal was replaced. Oil was changed and bearing surfaces lubed. Engine was started and operates as intended. Edger is now a usable piece of equipment. It starts easily and runs perfectly.
