Product Description ?

This is a manufacturer approved replacement part designed for Black and Decker sanders. This part is made out of rubber with foaml and it is sold individually. This is a hook and loop fastener closure system. The rough side is called hook. Its softer mate is called loop. The hooks engage into the loop and provide the closure mechanism. Please note screws used to attach it to the sander are sold separately.

Changing the pad is easy and will only require a screwdriver.

• First remove the screws that secure the pad
• Remove old pad and replace it with the new one
• Secure it using the screws

    The platen broke away from the sander body at the 4 screws holding it in place.

    1. REMOVED THE SANDING BELT
    2. REMOVED (3) PHILIPS HEAD SCREWS.THAT HOLD THE PLATEN.
    3. REPLACED THE PLATEN AND RE-INSTALLED THE HOLD DOWN SCREW.
    4. RE-INSTALLED THE SANDING BELT.
    A PIECE OF CAKE TO DO.
