    Remove the hog ring with a small screwdriver
    Remove the washer
    Remove the compression spring
    Remove the sleeve
    Remove the steel ball
    Remove the broken spring
    Install the removed parts in reverse order

    Removed the parts per instructions given by other people on your website and put it back together and all is well! Bought extra parts to have on hand in case my other one has the same issue!

    The clip and washer wore out and wouldn't hold back the spring for the quick change bit assembly.

    Ring and washer worn out

    , Easy to remove old parts. Pain to install new ring!

    Removed old worn out ring and washer with a eyeglass screwdriver. Put new washer and ring in and had to work the ring around the nut. Takes patience. Can be frustrating. Recommend watching you tube video if you are unsure.
