The purpose of this Piston Bumper is to keep the piston from hitting the bottom of the cylinder and damaging it.
Because this part get so much abuse it has a tendency to crack and fall apart.

Remove the four bolts from the bottom cover.
Remove the old piston bumper.
Remove the piston assy.
Put the new piston assy.
And the new piston bumper
Spray wd-40 inside little bit.
Put everything together and make a test.
