This pin attaches the Worm Gear, part number W10112253, to the Shaft & Pinion, part number 240210-2, into the Worm Bracket, part number 240308. This part does come in a full assembly using part number 240309-2.

2 teeth on the center gear were missing and the corresponding shaft and pinion appeared worn and needing replacement.

2. Ordered replacement parts per parts diagram.
3. Received parts. Unfortunately, centergear was originally pressed on. replacement required pin and hole in shaft to hold center gear
4. Shaft not available. Found alternative site that had correct shaft. Ordered it and waited for delivery.
5. Received shaft and installed.
6. Pin in old pinion & shaft was impossible to hammer out. finally drilled it out.
7. Reassembled pinion & shaft and hammered in new pin holding second gear.
8. Reassembled remainder according to video.
