I removed it from the package. I gave it a good, hot rinsing and then placed it into the coffee pot filter holder of my coffee machine. I then placed a couple of heaping spoons of coffee grounds in filter cup, filled the machine with water and turned the brewing button to 'on'. After a few minutes I was finally enjoying my daily coffee. Thanks for having that filter cup replacement!!
