I purchased a carburetor repair kit from ereplacement parts.com & received it within 3 - 4 days. I\'ve never worked on a lawnmower or a trimmer. With the help/ hands on tutorial via u tube, I was able to disassemble and install a new carburetor on my Echo GT 225 that is approximately 6yrs old. It took me a couple of hours because I had a little problem reinstalling the spring that seats underneath the metering lever pin. The newer models have a hole that one can drop the spring into it. I did not have this luxury; I was able to fix my Echo GT 225 Grass Trimmer. After installing the carburetor kit, I primed the trimmer four times & it started up on the first pull. I\'m very proud of myself for being able to fix the problem myself. I can lay tile, crown molding, install windows, landscape, cook, and now I can say that I can fix my own lawnmower or trimmer! Lastly, I gave Home Depot, Brea, Ca. the website of replacement parts.com and strongly suggested that they refer their customers to this place where they can get or secure parts that are not available at Home Depot or Lowes. They were very thankful that I gave them that information. J.J. Hernandez Retired Jack of All Trades

Watched your video on \"How to Clean a Two-Cycle/Two-Stroke Engine Carburetor\". Which really helped, because I have never torn down a carburetor before. After I had it all together, I replaced the primer and primer cover. This is the video I watched, if someone else could use it.

Echo SRM 210 trimmer. Found fuel contaminated. Remove fuel tank, carb and fuel lines. Cleaned the tank, cleaned and rebuilt the carb using Ereplacement kit. Replace the fuel and return lines and fuel filter. Fresh fuel and one pull and it was running!!!! Using the posted ereplacements videos makes the repair easy! You may find less expens ive parts on the net but not the quality of the Ereplacement parts!!!

First I watched the video provided by ereplacements web sight. It\'s step-by-step guide was very informative. Then I replaced the carburetor kit as provided through my order with ereplacements, everything was provided in the kit, with the exception of the throttle body o-ring. Fortunately I was able to reuse the old o-ring . Reassemble car buretor with parts, put it back on the trimmer .Primed the carburetor it worked like a charm.

It\'s a Toro lawnmower with a Kohler engine.

I replaced the carburetor on the lawn mower. It took me 10 minutes, a 10mm nut driver and a T-20 torx screwdriver.

I took off the air filter, undid the two 10mm nuts and the 10mm bolt. disconnected the fuel line, unscrewed the front linkage mount on the top of the carb uretor and disconnected the butterfly linkage from the thermostat linkage. Then I undid the governor linkage off the back of the carburetor.

Then I pulled the carburetor off the mower, changed out the vacuum linkage from the old carb to the new carb and put it back in the same way as I took it off.

Let it sit for about 10 minutes to refill the float bowl while I put the tools away. It started on the 2nd pull and has run fine ever since.
