This authentic replacement ball bearing is designed for use with Makita belt sander. Bearings are a commonly replaced item used to reduce friction between rotating parts. The way it is designed the weight will be distributed evenly while the minimal contact area of the ball reduces friction. This particular bearing is used on both sides of the sleeve allowing angle stay and arm to move freely. Over time they will wear out requiring replacement. Please note this part is made out of metal and it is sold individually. This is a sealed bearing.
