This middle pole assembly is an authentic part which is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer. It is specially designed for Ryobi pole saws. The component contains the flexible drive shaft which helps to engage the cutting head. Over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. Refer to the owners manual and the appropriate diagrams of your model for the exact location and the correct installation. One durable metal middle pole assembly is included. You may need a screwdriver to disconnect the old part and attach the new one.

Hello Byron, Thank you for the question. Very sorry, the parts tot he Pole and the Handle are all sold separately. Ryobi does not sell the pole and handle as a full assembly. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
