This genuine OEM pad assembly—also known as a hook-and-loop sanding pad or sanding disc—is designed for use with compatible sanders and sourced directly from the original manufacturer. The circular pad measures 4.75 inches in diameter, features 8 dust extraction holes, and includes a Velcro backing to securely hold sandpaper discs in place during operation. Mounted to the base of the sander, this pad allows for smooth, efficient sanding and consistent surface finishing. Over time, the Velcro surface may wear down, or the pad may become cracked or stripped, leading to poor sandpaper grip, uneven sanding, or reduced performance. Replacing the pad is a simple repair that requires no specialized tools. To install, use a screwdriver to remove the retaining screws from the old pad. Align the new pad assembly with the mounting holes and secure it using the original or replacement screws. It’s recommended to inspect and replace any stripped or corroded screws during installation for best results. This part is sold individually and is ideal for restoring your sander’s performance and extending its service life.
