This control cable is designed for walk-behind lawn mowers to safely engage and disengage the blade during operation. Constructed with a durable metal inner cable and a protective rubberized outer sheath, it transfers motion from the control handle to the braking mechanism. When the control handle is released, the cable activates the blade brake to stop the blade quickly for added safety. Replacing a worn or broken control cable restores proper blade control, ensures the brake disengages correctly when the lever is pressed, and helps maintain safe, reliable mower operation during routine lawn care.
