This is an authentic Ridgid replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with impact drivers. The durable plastic end cap is used to cover the back of the main housing and motor assembly. A torx driver is needed to install this item. The end cap is sold as an individual replacement part.
the driver was was broken so bad it was duct taped together ! a friend gave it to me for parts !
so i ordered the housing and endcap rubber cover < just remove the 3 ft of duct tape then the screws ,
remove the cracked housing and replace with the new housing, simple and easy works like a new
