Replaced the old and hardened drain plug (it was beginning to leak) with the new one. Pulled the old one out with pliers and pushed the new one in by hand. Easy.

the old plug came out in pieces as it broke pulling it out with pliers. The new plug was a very very snug fit and took a little bit of maneuvering to place. Once in it worked perfect. I bought a few drain plugs for this heater to have on hand in case it happens again and i won\'t have to pay shipping on a $2 part

Had to put a little soapy water in plug so it was easier to insert but works good now. Good place to get parts and very fast delivery.
