This is an authentic Husqvarna replacement part. This ball bearing is used in assorted power tools including chainsaws, stump grinders, and power cutters. 1. Remove cutting blade.
2. Remove belt guards.
During next steps there are multiple layers of parts that must be kept in strict order so be sure to
arrange them in proper order for reassembly. Take pictures.
3. Remove 2 bolts holding front blade arbor assembly.
4. Remove screws inside blade guard to remove g uard
5. Remove retaining screws and bolt securing the clutch.
6. With the arbor assembly free of all attachments you must now drive the arbor out of the dual bearings supporting it. Be sure not to mushroom the ends of the arbor or damage the threads.
7. You can now drive out the 2 bearings. They will only come out of the housing in one direction. Be careful in this step and take your time, the housing is made of aluminum and can be cracked. You can place the housing over the open jaws of a large bench vise and use a driver or a deep socket of the proper size to drive them out. This can also be done on a hydraulic press.
8. Now you reverse the process. Install the 1st bearing and then the arbor followed by the 2nd bearing. Be sure to seat the inside bearing against the retainer but do not crack the housing by driving the bearing too hard. The 2nd bearing needs to be flush with the housing.
9. Continue to replace the layers of parts. The clutch may need to be disassembled to insert the inner drive mechanism (a shallow dish-shaped part secured with 3 small screws.) If necessary remove 2 of the 4 clutch shoes leaving any 2 that are opposite each other. Install the drive dish into back into the clutch (the are retained by a long spring running all the way around the clutch). It is tricky but can be done with patience. Do this on a clean flat surface as it will be prone to slipping apart. Critical: you must be sure to orient the drive dish in the proper direction)
10. Once you have all the parts reinstalled make sure the arbor turns freely before installing the belt. It may be slightly stiff but should not be difficult to turn. Reattach the front arbor assembly, covers and adjust the belt. Do not over tighten it.

That\'s it. Start it up and after the saw is warmed up do test cuts with either a metal cutoff blade or concrete blade. Sounds hard but really isn\'t as long as you keep the parts in order and don\'t hurry.
