1. Turned off the power to the fan.
2. Dropped the unit from hanging ceiling w/out removing the vent pipe or the electrical connection.
3. Disconnected the electrical power harness.
4. Removed the thumb screw.
5. Lifted the tab upward and out of the slot.
6 Dropped the fan assembly like opening a door and pu lled out the opposite tabs.
7. Replaced with the new unit following steps in reverse order.

Removed Fan cover, unplugged unit from fan, unscrewed motor platform, cleaned existing housing, replace fan housing with new fan-then replace light lens.

Easy fix once the blower assembly turned loose of the nail. With the Broan blower you just undo a thumbscrew and lower the side of the assembly and lift the other side up and out of the slots. Unplug the motor wires. Reverse procedure to install.

The replacement fan was a perfect fit making replacing the old fan extremely easy and fast! Not having to remove then entire fan shroud in order to install a new fan, which would have required patching and painting the ceiling, was well worth the cost!

1. Removed ceiling vent grille cover.
2. Unplugged electrical harness from existing blower.
3. Removed screw that held blower to ventilation housing.
4. With screw removed, used flat blade screw driver to lift up, and disengage tabs on one side of blower assembly from slots on vent housing.
5. Removed blower as sembly.
6. Inserted new blower assembly making sure that tabs were inserted into slots on vent housing.
7. Replaced screw.
8. Plugged in electrical harness.
9. Replaced ceiling grill cover.
10. Switched on power to test blower operation.

Prior to removal/installing - read given instructions a few times until comfortable.
Turned power off.
1-removed old motor/blower
2-put in new replacement motor/blower
3-duct taped any seen gaps
4-check workability (power back on) - oh, yeah - it works!
