This band saw wheel tire is designed to fit over the drive or idle wheel to provide proper traction and support for the blade during operation. Its durable rubber or urethane construction helps maintain correct blade tracking, tension, and stability, contributing to smoother cuts and more accurate results. Replacing a worn, cracked, or hardened tire restores reliable blade alignment, reduces slipping, and improves overall cutting performance, helping ensure safe and consistent operation during everyday woodworking tasks.

Prompt delivery-great part
The bandsaw tire was exactly what I needed, and it arrived within the time frame stated. I ordered a drive belt for a dewalt planer a few days later, and when it arrived I realized I had ordered the wrong belt. Upon calling the e-replacement phone number, I was able to get information for returning the belt and get refund of cost on my credit card. I also ordered the correct belt at the same time. It arrived soon after and worked perfectly. I was very pleased with the efficiency and courtesy of the young man who helped me. Thank you for your service.

Very easy fix
The bandsaw tire I ordered (Jet 12") was delivered quickly and was very easy to install. Once I got the wheel off the saw it took about 1 minute to install. I didn't have to warm the belt, just stretched it on using my fingers. Works great - no issues.

I ordered the wrong part and have returned it for credit.
Greetings: Unfortunately I got mixed up and ordered the part I needed from the wrong model listing. I have returned the part and am presently awaiting the correct one that is back ordered. Seems that what I ordered is obsolete. I sure hope that I can get the correct one soon. Thanks, Clyde

1. Removed pieces of the old tire.
2. Inspected the aluminum wheel for burrs, cracks, saw dust buildup, etc.
3. Stretched the new tire over the aluminum wheel to fit into the groove. Pushed the tire over the edge so that it lays flat in the groove.
4. Replaced the band saw blade. Tightened the blade to the correct

5. Put guard back on the saw.
Removed top & bottom Tires. Soaked the new tires in hot water for a few minutes. Started to stretch the tire on the top wheel, got my son to help me. It makes it easier having someone help you. The saw works like a million dollars, Thank You for getting the tires for me I\'ll be calling you again. Thank You

The tire had stretched out through the years of use and started to come off.
Removed the blade guard so the blade could be taken off. Loosened up the tension adjustment to remove the blade. Finished removing the old tire. Started installing the new tire by hand until it wouldn\'t go on anymore. Using a round shaft screwdriver, so as not to gouge the wheel, I inserted it between the tire and wheel. Holding the
... Read more tire in place with one hand and holding the screwdriver in the other hand, I worked the screwdriver around the wheel toward the other hand until the tire slipped on the wheel. Removed the screw driver, replaced the blade, tightened up the tension and replaced the guard. Tested it first by manually rotating the wheels to make sure the blade stayed aligned. Closed the safety doors and turned it on.
First, remove the blade. Then remove the wheels from the saw using a wrench. This was quick and easy; watch for the pin that aligns the lower wheel. You will need it to replace the wheel.
Take the old tires off and stretch the new tires on. I had trouble with the tires being too tight to do this by hand. Two zip ties to hold
... Read morethe middle of the new tire in place allowed me to use two screwdrivers to lever the ends of the tires in place. (The shaft of the screwdriver, not the end; anything strong and not sharp, dowels would also work). Once the tire is on, leave one screwdriver between the tire and the wheel and slide it around the wheel to straighten the tire. Cut off the zip ties first.
The Jet band saw wheels have a lip to hold the tire, so no glue is required (they weren\'t glued originally). Replace wheels on band saw and adjust as usual. Works perfectly now.
Removed the old tire pieces cleaned off glue and put on new tire with out glue. Put back on saw and adjusted blade as I saw fit. Be sure to run a round screwdriver or dowel around and under the tire to get the proper fit on wheel.

Band saw tire lost some of its body and began stretching causing blade to come off
Removed both the upper and lower tires from the wheels. Soaked the new tires in hot waster to make them more pliable. With the help of my son, we stretched the tires on both wheels. Very tight fit.
Removed the wheel from the saw. Heated the tire in hot water, clamped the band in three places as I stretched it over the wheel and used the screwdriver for the final stretching. Replaced the wheel, obviously. Piece of cake!
Not much to the repair just fit the new tire over the wheel and you\'re done. If the new tire fits tightly you may need to soak it in warm water then immediately put it on the wheel. The hot water helps the band stretch.
