Drive train broken, blade guide worn out

2. Removed lower wheel with adjustable wrench.
3. Removed the broken drive train gear from the lower with Phillips screwdriver and replaced with new part.
4. Loosened drive motor with adjustable wrench to provide slack to ease replacement of lower band wheel.
5. Once lower whe ... Read more el was secured back in place, adjusted the drive belt tension and tightened back the drive motor.
6. verified that the band was still tracking well on the drive wheels.
7. Removed the blade guide block that was at the end of it\'s life by loosing the securing screw with allen wrench.
8. Installed the new guide block, set the tension against blade, and secured with allen wrench.
9. Verified that band was now working properly.
The original gear attached to the large belt wheel broke in 3 places.

2. Remove wheel ring.
3. Unscrew 3 Philips screws.
4. Slide off belt (I recommend buying a new belt).
5. Replace wheel pulley.
6. Put back together in reverse order.
The plastic drive pulley so the blade would not turn.

Remove the retaining clip .
Slide the drive pulley off the shaft.
Remove the 3 screw holding the drive pulley to the metal lower blade pulley.
Re-install in the reverse
