    Drive belt was wore out and had a couple parts missing that I ordered and put on

    The screw that holds the self propel motor cover was lost.

    I'm not really sure that replacing a screw is really considered to be a repair. Basicly, all I did was order the screw and replace the lost one with it to hold the self propel motor and belt cover secure to the mower.

    Self-propel belt broke.The screw was needed to replace the original because it snapped in half when we removed the belt.

    1. Removed the tapping screw and plastic housing on the top.
    2. Removed the blade and pan from bottom
    3. Removed left over pieces of belt and cleaned and oiled the belt wheels
    4. Replaced belt
    5. Replaced pan, blade, and plastic housing

    Belt came off; no power to wheels; Belt cover detached and self taping screw was gone

    I downloaded a copy of the owner's manual and found info about changing the belt. Taking off wheels showed that gears on inside was stripped and the one wheel needed to be replaced.
