This crisper cover glass insert is designed to cover the crisper drawers in refrigerators. It is fitted inside the plastic crisper cover/frame and has dimensions of 17 inches by 23.5 inches. The glass acts as a protective barrier to prevent the entry of food debris, odors, and moisture, and maintains the proper humidity levels for food preservation. The glass also gives the user a clear view of the contents inside the drawers. The crisper cover glass insert can fail due to accidental breakage, cracks, or wear over time. A faulty cover will not be able to provide adequate insulation and humidity control, leading to food spoilage. To remove the glass, insert, gently lift the front of the crisper cover, and pull it out from the mounting slots. Remove the glass from the plastic frame and insert the new one in its place. Return the frame and glass to the refrigerator and ensure it is aligned with the mounting slots. Slide it backwards until it is in place.
