This is an original part from Waring. This durable plastic lid was designed for use with blenders to contain ingredients while the appliance is in operation. This item features a space in the center for the lid insert which allows for ingredients to be added while blending. Please note that the insert is sold separately. To replace this item simply remove the old lid and snap the new one into place on top of the blender jar. This item is sold individually.

Simply put the pieces together after they were washed and sanitized. They fit perfectly and were much less expensive than any other place I looked.

Placed the blending assembly in the jar bottom, then the gasket. Then thread that assembly to the bottom of the jar. Then placed both lids on top of the jar.
