Replacement part for an old Homelite 6200 Gen
I would like to thank everyone I spoke with regarding this Generator. It was leaking oil and of course the parts are not made by the manufacturer anymore. But leave it to ereplacementparts to save the day. I must have called 4x and each person tended to me with outstanding customer service and I feel went above and beyond to find one that would fit this gen. Thank you again to all.

For the Homelite Generator I had to remove the complete Gen head (stator and rotor). Along with the wires coming from the stator to the unit with the outlet connections. Since it was my first time doing this I took my time to ensure I did not damage anything and to replace the seal properly. To my amazement, I succeeded and had zero leaks after running the generator for about 1 hr. And in the days that followed. I added some silicone too as an added sealant and was very pleased with the results.
The governor arm was literally a 5 min job of that.
I was very pleased with the help I received from ereplacement parts. Their agents definitely helped out a lot with the seal because the unit it went on was no longer making parts for it (due to the age of the unit). They were able to cross reference the part # and found my replacement along with emailing me a picture of the item prior to completing my purchase. Thank you to everyone that always helps. This was not my first time ordering here or calling for assistance.
