This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Campbell Hausfeld air compressors. The extension is used when the oil needs to be drained further from the pump body. Oil must be removed from the pump prior to installing this extension. The oil drain extension is sold as an individual replacement part, please not the oil drain extension cap is sold separately.

    Hello William, Thank you for writing. We recommend using a standard 20 weight or 30 weight compressor oil. We hope this helps!

    What size is the pipe extension? I.e. 3/8 x 3"??

    1. Drained oil using a flexible plastic tube.
    2. Replaced oil drain plug with extender pipe
    3. Screwed cap onto pipe.
    4. Tightened both with wrenches.

    2. Wrapped pipe tape on both ends of oil drain extension
    3. Threaded oil drain cap onto oil drain extension
    4. Threaded oil drain extension and cap into compressor
    5. Used wrench to tightened oil drain extension and cap
