    Steering drag linkage bars were worn and loose. Needed to be replaced.

    Socket set, Wrench Set, Adjustable Wrench, 2 Ton hoist (jack)

    1) Using a standard floor hoist (jack), raise the front end of riding mower high enough to allow room for socket wrench to remove linkage nuts.
    2) Using socket wrench and open end wrench; loosen and remove old linkage nuts and old lock washers. Tap on old drag linkage bar with rubber hammer and remove bar.
    3) Insert new drag linkage bar.
    4) Place new lock washers and finger tighten nuts on both ends of new linkage bar. Using socket wrench and open end wrench, tighten both nuts securely.
    5) Lower front end of riding mower using the floor hoist (jack).

    Both the right and left link arms broke leaving the mower deck just scraping the ground

    Had to completely remove mower deck to reinstall left link arm if you only had to replace right link arm you could do it from side but very tight on arm. Works great now thank you.

    Broken lift link.

    1. Lowered the deck.
    2. Removed the broken link.
    3. Installed the new link.
    4. Propped up the deck to start the nut.
    5. Tightened the nut until I had the same measurement to the deck bottom.

    2. Put hangers on lawn mower
    3. Lifted deck up and blocked it
    4. lined it up and secure hangers
