OEM: Original Equipment Manufacturer ?
Craftsman Husqvarna Poulan

Product Description ?

This authentic replacement part is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. This blade is designed for use with riding lawn mowers/tractors. Mulching blades are designed to circulate the grass longer so it can be cut into smaller pieces. This makes your grass clippings better as mulch since the smaller clippings will decompose more quickly, releasing their nutrients into the soil. This part is made out of metal and it is sold individually. To replace it you would need a wrench to remove the nut that secure the blade.

    Need three
I was the go between to order parts. I didn’t realize that three blades were needed to replace the old blades. The service representative should be able to tell the number of blades needed upon request by customer. Otherwise, everything is great.

Pulled the cutting deck completely out from under mower so I could access the spindles, blades and mandrel assembly. Once mower deck was removed from the tractor underside note how the belt is routed. This will make it easier when reassembling. Pretty straight forward repair. Remove the four bolts holding the damaged mandrel and the mandrel that had a shaft end spun out. You will need to remove the pulling from the mandrels. I just gently tapped my off but if you have a puller that will make it easier. Replace the new mandrel by reversing the steps. The shaft had to be tapped out but it was simple and the old bearing came out with the old shaft. Place new bearing on shaft and reinstall. Very easy process. Installed the new blades, remounted the mower deck to tractor and started cutting grass.
