Product Description ?

It is a genuine OEM sourced replacement muffler with a welded exhaust pipe, it is commonly installed on the gas-powered lawn and garden equipment. Its purpose is to soften the noise coming from the engine, over time it may get get clogged or damaged eventually requiring a replacement. It is specially manufactured to meet the EPA exhaust regulations. This high-quality component is made of durable metal and it is sold individually, please note the hardware to secure the it and the gaskets are all sold separately.

    Socket set, Allen wrench

    Remove the exhaust cover, remove the the muffler deflector. Remove the bolts and screw securing the muffler. Remove the muffler and the muffler gasket. Clean the area where the gasket sits. Install the new muffler in reverse order.

    Removed the old mufller. Very easy to remove an reinstall. I used a Floor jack, rachet and socket set.

    A new muffler was needed

    Screwdriver, Socket set, Wrench Set

    Removed the front cover of the expose the front of the engine.
    Removed the heat shield.
    Removed bottom discharge muffler.
    Removed exhaust diverter from old muffler.
    Installed new front discharge muffler and install old exhaust diverter.
    Could not intall heat shield because new muffler configuration is higher than the old muffler still works and does it's job no complaints.
