    Removed old muffler and installed new one. Also installed the muffler gasket which was not on the old muffler. Gasket sealed the joint better and resulted in quieter operation.

    1. I proceeded to remove the muffler cover.
    2. Remove the muffler.
    3. Install the new one with the new gasket.
    4. Put back on muffler cover.

    Cleaned carburetor with carburetor cleaner, replaced gasket damaged during removal.
    New spark plug
    Air cleaner
    Muffler
    Blades
    12 year old Honda runs like new now.
    Reassembly of carburetor is more easily done by threading two screws through various parts and then onto the engine. No need to disconnect throttle cable, or gas line.
