Product Description ?

This motor is supplied by the original manufacturer for use in exhaust fans. It has a body diameter of 3 1/8 inches, a height of 2 inches, and a shaft diameter of 0.25 inches. The motor is responsible for powering the blades which circulate the air, reduce humidity, and remove odor and pollutants from the air. The motor can fail over time from overuse, lack of lubrication, debris build-up, electrical shorts, or normal wear and tear from aging. If the motor in an exhaust fan fails, the fan will stop working, leading to increased humidity from lack of ventilation, poor air quality, and inadequate air circulation. Begin the repair by ensuring that the power to the exhaust fan is turned off at the circuit breaker. Remove the fan cover to access the motor and carefully disconnect the electrical wires connecting the motor to the power supply. Remove the motor from its housing and place the new motor in its place. Secure it in place with the appropriate mounting hardware and reconnect the electrical wires to the appropriate terminals. Reattach the fan cover to complete your repair.

Great customer service. I ordered a replacement bathroom fan motor and it arrived damaged. I called the customer service phone number and they provided a FedEx code to return the damaged motor, credited my credit card for the cost of the fan and shipping, and sent me a replacement motor that same day which I paid for with the same credit card. It arrived in great shape, was installed and is working great. I then ordered 2 more of these fans that will be installed this week. Great customer service. Thank you so much.

    Perfect Replacement Motor
The fan motor was in the bathroom when we bought the house in 1989. Despite the age, this motor was an exact replacement and perfect fit for the dead motor. Never though I'd be able to find an exact replacement motor for a fan this old.

Glad I found you, with one tiny hiccup
I was very happy to find this motor. It fit a very old exhaust fan in my bathroom. If I would have had to replace the fan, I would have had to do some sheetrock work, as today's fans all have smaller grills. The slight hiccup up was that one of the mounting posts was bent. I considered sending it back, but was able to straighten it out without breaking it, so all's well.
