Remove engine flywheel cover and set aside.
Remove ignition wire from spark plug.
Remove retaining screws from coil assembly.
Disconnect kill switch wire from bottom of coil.
Reverse procedures to reinstall, but don't tighten coil retaining screws.
Rotate flywheel by hand to align magnet with ignition coil.
Place a business card between the magnet and the coil pick up to establish an air gap so flywheel magnet does not strike coil when rotating.
Tighten screws, then rotate flywheel to remove card. Then rotate flywheel by hand to ensure no contact is made during rotation.
Replace flywheel cover, reconnect battery and spark plug wire.
Engine should start.
Lawnmower tractor would run while cold. As soon as it would warm up it would stop.
