Replaced light switch and starter. All I needed was a screw driver. I got expert advice from your technical support group. They analyzed my problem and gave me their recommendations what needed to be replaced. They were spot on their analysis.

Screwdriver, Pliers, Wire cutters light wouldn\\\'t work after 12 years.

1. Removed the lamp unit from the range hood
2. Replaced the transformer ballast unit along with the lamp ends and the light switch ( the components that the ballast wires go to since I was in there and they were inexpensive.
3. Reassembled and reinstalled the lamp control unit to the hood.
4. Turn on the switch and everything works like new.

This repair was easy and probably cost only 10% of what it would have cost if I brought in an electrician who would have wanted to replace the entire range hood unit instead of replacing old components.
