Took off both worn skid plates & put new ones on & took off old chute cleaner bracket and replaced with new bracket I order - Easy fix - Night before replacing both skid plates and chute cleaner bracket I sprayed penetrating oil on each bolt & nut for easy removal the next day in case I broke the bolts taking off the old skid plates and chute cleaner bracket because I DID NOT ORDER new bolts and nuts - I got very lucky my machine is not new at least 13 to 15 years old and the nuts came off the bolts very easily with no problems - All good ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Replacement is just a simple matter of unbolting the old parts and installing the new parts. Don't let these parts get too worn before replacement or the wear will extend into the actual blower housing and cause damage to it.

Auger impeller bearing wore out after 11 years, drive pulley sheared key

Jerry - December 20, 2017
Disassembled, like replacing belts, removed remains of old bearing, cleaned up shaft at pulley area. Replaced defective parts and reassembled. Pretty straight forward after reading the manual. Used a tie down instead of a second person to pull auger section and power section together on re assembly. Could do it slowly and steadily while checking fit and clearance and it held sections together while I put the attachment bolts in the housing. All parts matched the originals with no problems and would use this website again .

Trial by error. Not to hard. Only challenge is by attempting to repair without the manual or user guide. Found the original skid plates were installed backwards from the manufacturer. All the replacement parts look just like the original parts :-)

Many problems: the drive and auger wouldn't engage, not scraping down to the driveway, two broken knobs, extremely worn skids, rusted chute at the bottom making it hard to rotate

Todd - November 12, 2017
I replaced lots of parts using multiple tools. The only problems I had was due to rusted fasteners. I had a great experience with eReplacementParts my order arrived very fast including one part (the chute assembly) all pieces fit perfect. I did a major overhaul now the blower is running great.
