This is 175mm black left crank arm with a Hollowtech II spindle interface. There are a few common issues that can arise due to a damaged left crank arm, such as the threads of the pedal becoming stripped or the pedal becoming loose, and the mating hole of the bottom bracket getting damaged, creating a loose fit and creaking sound. The arm can also crack, due being over-tightened, or retightening too many times.
For the installation of this part, you will set the wide groove area of the left crank arm into the axle of the right crank arm unit, where the groove is wide. You will want to apply grease to the axle and cap. Use the Shimano original tool to tighten the cap. Push the stopper plate in and check to make sure it is properly in place and then tighten the bolt of the left crank arm. Make sure you tighten both bolts equally, and alternating, to the specified torque.
