This is an OEM part. This Lead comes directly from KitchenAid and is used in all 6 quart and many 5 quart stand mixers. This Lead is used to send power from the Control Board (part number 9706648) to the Motor (W10247536). This Lead should be replaced if the insulation has come off to expose the wire inside or if there has been any other damage. To replace this part the, Transmission Housing (8212396) and the Motor will need to be removed.
