Husqvarna factory part
My Husqvarna 42” with Koehler engine is 17 years old the cruse control lever broke I assume from age and vibration. The replacement part is factory and perfect fit. It’s difficult to see it under the dash board and I removed the battery and box to get to it and it’s easy to replace it. Can’t be old orange specially with the Koehler.

The cruse control knob made of plastic broke

I removed the battery and the battery box to get to the cruse control rod that is under the dash board and sticks out of the dash facing the drivers seat. I had to remove the back half of the broken cruse control knob so I could install the new knob. Once removed I installed the new knob inserting it from the dash onto the rod and inserted the lock pin device that hold the rod and knobs together and reinstalled the battery box and battery. Job done.
